I'm glad you are serious about your role as a disciple. It is crucial that we align ourselves to what God has revealed about discipleship and, how it should impact us at the core of our identity. As you spend the next month/30 days evaluating your own commitment and calling, I pray that you will carefully examine the material that we have prepared. Each day is designed to give you a clearer picture of some aspect of a disciple's role at Yosemite Church. The effectiveness of our church will be determined by how well each of us is growing and becoming the person Christ wants us to be as members of His body. The great evangelist, John Wesley said, "Without God, we cannot. Without us, He will not."

That journey of discipleship was never intended to be done in isolation. Discipleship is the pursuit of becoming like Christ. It is the conviction that follows our conversion. When we accept a relationship with Christ, we are no longer living life independent of God. Instead, we are admitting to and accepting our dependence upon God and the body of Christ, of which he calls us to be an active participant.
